Employee Education

Counterpoint employees must complete a pre-service orientation which familiarizes them with client rights, our mission and philosophy, the principles of normalization, personnel policies, job description and expected conduct in their interactions with the people we serve.

All staff must undergo a criminal background clearance.

Direct care staff are required to complete a training curriculum which covers, agency reporting, teaching techniques, behavior management, CPR, first aid, medication administration and issues of abuse, neglect and exploitation.

Opportunities are provided for ongoing advanced education.
