Residential staff assists with activities of daily living such as meals, medications, personal care, exercise, leisure and recreational activities, and community events as outlined in the plan of care. Applicants must be of legal age to complete job requirements, possess a valid driver license, and receive criminal background clearance upon hire.

Residential Coordinator

40 hours per week

SCHEDULE:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Weekend on-call rotation every 5-7 weeks. Must be flexible to meet the needs of the group homes and supported living program.

WAGE:

$27.38 - $30.00 per hour.

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

SUPERVISES: Residential Managers and staff, Supported Living Manager and staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 1 year of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities, OR two-year combination of education and experience as determined by the hiring committee.

  • Two years’ experience in personnel management.

  • Valid Driver License and insurable by Counterpoint, Inc. auto insurance.

  • Ability to safely operate a 13-passenger van, adaptive equipment, household cleaning, and yard maintenance equipment.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Experience with Excel spreadsheets.

  • Ability to read and apply written instructions, to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

  • To establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and clients.

  • Ability to physically assist clients.

  • Respond calmy in emergency situations.

  • Ability to work unsupervised, be self-initiating and self-motivating. Ability to flex schedule as needed to meet the needs of the homes and supported living program.

  • Criminal background clearance.

  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques.

  • DDCPT, CBT, CDS, or approved equivalent

  • Medication Administration Certification (Montana)

  • Manual sign language

                                                               

 

Residential Instructor

(2) 30 hours per week, and an 8 hour a week.

The Residential Instructor  works hands on in the group homes. Our mission is to nurture personal growth and support meaningful lives for adults with disabilities.

VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTOR:

40 hours per week. 

Counterpoint Inc. is seeking applicants for the position of full-time vocational instructor. The instructor is a member of the team working with adults with developmental disabilities. At Counterpoint we assist these individuals with leisure activities, connecting with community and enhancing their daily activities. The Vocational center has an upbeat positive work environment.

 

The position is 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm or 8:30am-4:30pm.

 

No experience necessary, paid training provided. $19.80-$21.27 per hour with $1500.00 retention bonus based on training and longevity.
